I have various Cisco, Microsoft, Adobe and Apple specialist certifications in the bottom of my dusty drawer. I got my first computer in 1988, and I´ve used PCs, Macs and MIDI for music production since 1991.

MIDI

I'm a MIDI enthusiast, and I own several classic GM and GS sound modules from the 80s and 90s. I even created a couple of hardware and software mods for some of them.

Revenge of the nerd

My first website (atchoo.net) was online as early as 1994 (the year of internet, black metal, low-res GIF animations, cringe yearbook photos and the Lillehammer olympics) and somehow still carries on in some dark and swampy area inside the infamous and epic internet archive (I won't ever tell you where).

Music (!)

Rock and roll, Doo wop, Rockabilly, Pop, Classic rock, Punk rock, Grunge/indie, blues, classic country, folk, trash and speed metal, boogie, heavy rock, glam rock…yeah. Namedrops keep falling on my head. In particular, I love Ramones, Chuck Berry, Sex Pistols, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, The Beatles, Ronettes, Blondie, Reigning Sound, Glasvegas, Arctic Monkeys. I probably forgot some…I find it hard to keep it short when the subject is music.Music is my greatest passion, as you probably have guessed by now.

I also love classic 50s/60s/70s pop culture, rock and roll mythology, music, furniture, movies & cars.

App development and beyond

Web technology, "smart" hardware with open software, programming. Developing apps/software, exploring new tech, software and devices (in any shape, form or color). If I get enthusiastic to a certain level, I sometimes write reviews, tutorials and recommendations.
